Just when we thought we were done with attempting to romance anyone but Astarion, Baldur’s Gate 3 pulls us back in again. We might never be free, and honestly, that’s fine by me.
After the Baldur’s Gate 3 team cleaned up at the BAFTA Games Awards 2024, some fans wondered what would happen next – was that it for Larian’s acclaimed game?
But no, Larian isn’t finished with BG3 just yet. In fact, the developers are gifting us both new endings and mod support. That’s right, we’re getting modding tools to help make our Dark Urge nightmares become reality.
As someone who isn’t well versed in using mods, you’d be right in assuming I’m more excited about the evil endings. I’ve never truly played an evil run, but now feels like the right time to throw caution to the wind and embrace the darkness.

This will be patch 7. There have been some hefty patches before now, but this latest one seems to be among the biggest, much to our delight.
Sadly, it doesn’t seem like anyone will be able to kiss Withers anytime soon. Though in all honesty, it wasn’t on the top of my to do list anyway.
Ready for a new Baldur's Gate 3 run? Well, it's time to get ready!
Seeing as how this update is all about being unashamedly wicked, it’s only right that we get new music to accompany those evil moments. Thank goodness, then, that Larian has Bafta winning Borislav Slavov on hand to compose such a haunting, foreboding song.

It isn’t just evil endings Larian has teased – it's also mentioned “new beginnings”, which has sent fans into a hyped-up tailspin as they try to guess what such a message could mean.
As Larian explains, “We’re currently working on two new projects, and we couldn’t be more excited about what the future has in store.”
Now, “What’s the best way to get blood stains out?”
