An official art book for Assassin’s Creed Shadows, filled to the brim with more spoilers than a Nissan Skyline meet-up, has just leaked on… E-Hentai.org.
Yeah, that’s not a hyperlink for a reason.
News of the leak seemingly first hit the r/GamingLeaksAndRumours subreddit last night, which credits a specific page on the E-Hentai website that has since been removed.

Now, there’s not an awful lot that can offend whoever owns the E-Hentai website so I highly doubt it was taken down for its content. I’d instead wager that the art book’s removal probably comes as a result of Ubisoft contacting the site directly.
However, it was a little too late for them to bother it would seem, because it’s already been backed up by numerous image hosting sites.
There’s a bunch of juicy info in here, from weapons, to alternate costumes and backstories of both the protagonists and antagonists of the game.
One very juicy bit of info I read is a huge, huge spoiler, so continue reading from this point onwards at your own peril.

I spotted a comment from someone over on the r/assassinscreed subreddit that I’ve since been able to corroborate in the art book, which goes into detail about how our protagonists Naoe and Yasuke might actually start the game as enemies.
“Speaking of which, the art book also implies that Naoe helped Akechi Mitsuhide carry out the assassination plot against Nobunaga and his loyalists,” commented user Kamen-Drider, “the same man who saw Yasuke as subhuman and tried to have him shipped back into slavery after the events of the betrayal.”
“So Naoe's initial beef with Yasuke probably isn't going to be as one-sided as I thought.”
I think it’s a pretty interesting idea to have your dual protagonists at least start out as enemies, but that just makes me think there’ll be some GTA V-esque ending where only Naoe or Yasuke is making it out of Assassin’s Creed Shadows alive.
