Bad news, Assassin’s Creed fans - you might want to check on your pre-orders. A number of people are reporting that their pre-orders for the Collector’s Edition of Assassin’s Creed Mirage have been suddenly cancelled.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage was announced last September, when it was confirmed that the instalment will be bringing stealth gameplay back to the series. The game is set in ninth century Baghdad, and will follow Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s Basim as he hones his skills and becomes a master assassin.

Right now, all we know about Mirage’s release date is that it’s supposed to be at some point this year, which isn’t very helpful. Even so, fans have been able to put in pre-orders for it already, including for the pricey Collector’s Edition. Over on Reddit though, many claim that their pre-orders on the Ubisoft Store have now been cancelled, leading everyone to wonder what’s going on.

“Assassin's Creed Mirage pre-orders, cancelled?” Reddit user DeeEffTeeBeeEh wrote, with a screenshot of their order showing as “null” on the store's website. “After receiving some DMs, I noticed others who pre-ordered AC Mirage Collectors Case reported the same issue.”
Others chimed in: “My daughter just looked into it, we are in the US and it says null on her page and not showing anything,” Aggravating-Hunt3423 commented. “Having the same issue. I've opened a case on Ubisoft Support, let's see what they say,” wrote AssassinsCrypt. “I'm the UK and can confirm the same thing,” xp_version1 added.
At the time of writing, the PC version of the Collector’s Edition is showing as out of stock on the Ubisoft Store, and trying to locate the PS5 and PS4 versions leads to a 404 ‘page not found’ error. Ubisoft hasn’t yet responded to the situation.
