Earlier this year, PlayStation appointed their first ever senior director of PC planning and strategy to focus on increasing the number of PlayStation exclusives ported to PC. We’ve already seen Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves and Marvel’s Spider-Man hop on over to the platform.
This month, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales joined them and in our PC review, GAMINGbible’s James called the game a “must-play title”. We know that a port of The Last of Us Part I is on the way soon but yet another major 2022 PlayStation exclusive could also be getting a port in the coming months.
Take a look at the PC port of Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales in action below.
What were you hoping for, Horizon Forbidden West? God of War Ragnarök? Well, according to Gran Turismo creator Kazunori Yamauchi, Gran Turismo 7 could be the next PlayStation exclusive to speed its way over to PC. In a new interview with GTPlanet, Yamauchi was asked if any such plans are in the works and his answer did not disappoint.

Yamauchi said, “Yes, I do think so”, but warned that the port could take some time. “Gran Turismo [7] is a very finely tuned title,” he added. “There are not many platforms which could run the game in 4K/60p natively, so one way we make that possible is to narrow down the platform. It’s not a very easy subject, but of course, we are looking into it and considering it.”
PlayStation doesn't like to rush into PC ports. The PC version of Legacy of Thieves landed eight months after the console version. The Last of Us Part I is now almost three months old and we’re still waiting for an update on the port. It makes sense that PlayStation is retaining some exclusivity before porting so with that in mind, it could be late 2023 before we see a Gran Turismo 7 PC port come to fruition.
