Ah, the moral compasses of our world Andrew and Tristan Tate are here to let us know what’s wrong with today’s society, in particular with GTA VI.
Earlier this week, Rockstar Games released the highly anticipated first official trailer for GTA VI and it did not disappoint. Sadly, however, while many fans will look forward to playing the next entry in the ever-popular Rockstar Games series, millions of gamers will be miss out on GTA VI unless they upgrade.

It’s no secret that the Grand Theft Auto series has been a controversial one since its inception in the late 90s with its emphasis on car theft, violence, drugs and more. After all, it’s why the series has carried an 18 rating for so many years, especially with later entries, GTA is not for kids. That being said, that has never stopped some parents from attempting to buy their seriously underage kids the latest title in the Rockstar Games series, and I should know, I’ve worked in the horror show that is video game retail.

It’s always important to take things on a case-by-case basis and perhaps take words of wisdom when the time comes. That being said, I’m not sure that the likes of Andrew and Tristan Tate are the moral compasses that we should look for guidance. As reported by Dexerto, Andrew and Tristan Tate are currently under house arrest and facing several years in a Romanian prison following allegations that include human trafficking.
During a recent episode of the Tate brothers' podcast while in house arrest, the duo shared their thoughts on the Rockstar Games series and slammed GTA VI for being a game that encourages kids to shoot police. To be fair, the GTA series does put players in a situation in which police need to be shot at. However, as previously stated, the GTA series is adult-themed and for good reason.
Yet, despite providing such valuable insight, Andrew Tate revealed that he’s never actually played any of the Grand Theft Auto games. Furthermore, his brother Tristan also claimed to have only played the top-down entries from the late 90s. So make of that what you will.

When Andrew asked Tristan his thoughts on the recent GTA VI trailer, he replied “Video games aren’t necessarily evil" and then went on to say “I’m not a fan of anyone under the age of 18, 21 maybe, playing video games where the goal is to shoot police officers.” Tristan then offered some guidance to the developers at Rockstar Games adding “I feel like they could put a better objective into these games. Maybe you are a police officer, maybe you are trying to stop criminals.”
Grand Theft Auto VI will be released for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S in 2025. At this time, a PC release date hasn't been announced.
