The following article contains references to domestic abuse.
A month ago, successful Twitch streamer and adult performer Kaitlyn "Amouranth" Siragusa shared that she was suffered alleged abuse from her husband. Fortunately, she was able to seek emotional and legal counsel and a police investigation was initiated over her husband's behaviour towards her. Now, speaking on social media, she said that she's streaming more Overwatch 2 than hot tub content and that "life is better."
This is a cheering update for fans of the streamer as the events that occurred in October were chilling. While on the phone to her husband, Siragusa was in tears as he verbally abused her, ordered her around and threatened to kill her pets. After the call ended, she revealed text messages showing that he controlled her financial accounts, holding her savings over her head when she refused to comply, and that he told her to pretend to be single for "financial opportunities."

It was a major shock as Siragusa always appeared to be a stable and ambitious businesswoman on social media and on streams. However, she has now split from her husband and reclaimed control over her presence online and her bank accounts. Speaking on how her life is going since the split, she revealed that she's spending a lot more time on the games that she enjoys instead of the content that she was allegedly forced to create.
In a breakdown of her streaming time, only 10% of her streams are hot tub content, compared to them constituting approximately 50% of her content about 90 days ago. "I played more Overwatch [2] than I did hot tub. That’s NEVER HAPPENED," she said. On the whole, fans have been supportive of her, saying that they're happy she is no longer fearful and is able to relax with one of her hobbies.
Detractors described the events as a rebrand and the streamer naturally shut those accusations down. "Not about rebrand, I literally don’t care. I get to do what I want, and I still make 7 fig money a month. Life is better," she replied.
