Bloodborne is one of the most critically acclaimed exclusives on PlayStation which is why fans are desperate for a PS5 remaster and for it to be ported to PC. Whether either will happen, remains to be seen.
Released in 2015 on PlayStation 4, FromSoftware’s Bloodborne was met with high critical acclaim garnering a Metacritic score of 92 and earning the ‘Must-Play’ accolade. Bloodborne was then followed up by the equally brilliant expansion, The Old Hunters in November that very same year.

“Face your fears as you enter the decaying city of Yharnam, a forsaken place ravaged by a terrible, all-consuming illness. Scour its darkest shadows, fight for your life with blades and guns and discover secrets that will make your blood run cold – but just might save your skin…,” reads the synopsis of Bloodborne.

So if we were able to grab such a critically acclaimed game like Bloodborne for free, how awesome would that be? And we’re not even talking about a free game that is included in Sony’s PlayStation Plus subscription service.
Thanks to Microsoft Rewards, an Xbox gamer has claimed a free copy of Bloodborne by redeeming rewards points to purchase Amazon store credit. As a result, that Amazon store credit was used to purchase FromSoftware’s gothic classic on PlayStation.
“My first redemption!” exclaimed Redditor Mttecs. “I originally wanted to get Red Dead Redemption on the Xbox 360 for the 'redemption' play on words but it was unavailable anywhere, so I settled on Bloodborne.”

A Reddit user pointed out that Red Dead Redemption is available on the Microsoft store but Mttecs replied saying that Microsoft gift cards are not available in their region so the Amazon gift card was purchased instead.
Much of the Reddit thread was impressed with the purchase made by Mttecs with comments such as “Traitor! (I'm gonna do the same thing with my points)” and “Bloodborne is pretty cool and my favourite PS4 game. Enjoy!”
Bloodborne is available now on PlayStation 4 and is backwards compatible on PlayStation 5. It is also available to subscribers of PS Plus Extra and Premium at no extra cost.
