If you’re a fan of Assassin's Creed, Far Cry, or Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon and you just so happen to own an Xbox, you’re in luck because a bunch of Ubisoft’s best games will soon be headed to Xbox consoles in one neat package.
At the beginning of this year, it was revealed that Ubisoft+ would be joining Xbox. Essentially, Ubisoft+ is exactly what it sounds like - a subscription service exclusively for Ubisoft titles. In addition to the base games, it also grants subscribers with access to related DLC and season passes. Ubisoft+ isn’t exactly cheap, setting you back £14.99/$14.99 a month. What we didn’t know up until now is when the service would launch on Xbox, but Microsoft appears to have prematurely leaked that date.
Xbox-exclusive Starfield launches later this year. Take a look at the latest trailer below.
As reported by GameRant, Microsoft may have prematurely confirmed Ubisoft+’s imminent launch. The service is already available on PC, and made its way over to PlayStation last year. Rumours did originally claim that the service may launch on Xbox in April, and that appears to be true. As spotted by Twitter user IdleSloth84_, a Ubisoft+ punch card recently featured on the Xbox rewards app. It read, “Get unlimited access to fan-favourite franchises and more”.
Advert
It’s understood that Ubisoft+ won’t be included in any of the Xbox Game Pass tiers and may instead require an extra fee, but exact pricing has not yet been confirmed. Either way, if you are a Ubisoft fan, it’s a great way to get access to all of the publisher’s titles in one place.
Ubisoft could do with a morale boost. Recent reports claim that the company cancelled three unannounced games as a result of a poor financial year. Going forwards, Ubisoft is sticking to more familiar waters with a ton of Assassin’s Creed games on the way.
