Twitch can be a lawless place. That’s not always the case. I’m sure you’ve seen your fair share of wholesome streams, but I’ve bet you’ve seen even more embarrassing mishaps. I suppose it’s always a risk when you’re broadcasting live in front of thousands of people.
Last year, one streamer was caught having stealthy sex on camera. You may be wondering, Kate, what do you mean by stealthy? Well, she thought we wouldn’t notice what was happening out of frame - the reflection on the window decided otherwise. One Call of Duty streamer recently dislocated their knee midstream, plus there’s the Runescape player who passed out after getting too hyped. It all happens on Twitch. This week, Kai Cenat passed out after taking too many edibles.
Check out some of our favourite Twitch wins and fails below.
As reported by Dexerto, Cenat recently decided to eat some edibles during a stream but as time progressed, he could be seen getting visibly less energetic. Eventually, Cenat completely passed out and was left slumped in his chair. The stream later ended as I can’t imagine watching someone sleep is that interesting. Now that I type that, it also sounds pretty creepy.

Prior to the stream in a now-deleted tweet, Cenat wrote, “Trying edibles for the first time ahhh. Get in here now, we live.” This is probably why Cenat ended up passing out, seeing as he didn’t know what dosage he should take. Twitch hasn’t taken action against the streamer but as Dexerto explains, it does have strict rules against “self-destructive” behaviour which includes the use of drugs.
The guidelines state, “We do not make exceptions for self-destructive behaviour performed as a stunt or gag made in jest, or meant to entertain, when the behaviour could reasonably be expected to cause physical injury.” I should imagine that Cenat has learnt his lesson.
