According to director Damien Leone, nine people walked out of the opening premiere of Terrifier 3 during the opening scene.
It’s not much of a surprise really, given that - spoiler alert - the scene involves kids being harmed.
Silent Hill 2 is as brilliant as we thought it would be and perfect for Halloween play
Speaking on Twitter, Leone shared, “I did personally witness some crazy stuff at this UK screening!”

In reply to this one viewer of the film said, “This is what I love about Art! He definitely isn’t for everyone but he is definitely one of the best horror icons.”
I’m not entirely sure if this is a marketing ploy or genuine. If you’re going to see Terrifier 3, surely you watched the first two films, right? Did you not see what Art the Clown did in those films?
The replies on Twitter are filled with people even more hyped after this news.
While I don’t know the actual content of that scene, it comes as no surprise that Leone is pushing the boundaries of horror even further with this film.

The first two films present a villain who is so evil, completely devoid of any emotion or remorse, and lives to kill in the most gruesome ways.
Basing the film around Christmas time is sure to make Art the Clown target families, and of course, this will not be for everyone - you’ll need a strong stomach if you plan on watching.
However, horror fans can’t get enough of the clown, as shown in the Twitter thread;
“Sounds like perfection,” says one user.

“If you haven’t fainted in a theater yet, are you even trying to have a good time?” said another.
One Twitter comment sheds more light on the scene’s reactions, “I thought the dude next to me was going to throw up or have a panic attack so many times. Cinema first aiders are going to have a time next week.”
I’ve got my ticket for opening night booked and I can’t wait to see how gross this film is.
