Stranger Things fans should be commended for their strength when it comes to waiting for the fifth and final season of the much-loved Netflix show, but news about its eventual release has seemingly been revealed.

However, with the hiatus between seasons being so long, it is no wonder that some fans are done with waiting but luckily, a recent reveal has some interesting information about Stranger Things season five.

After reports that some fans had received a code sent to their web browser last week, it was suggested that season five would kick off on 27 November 2025, although Netflix has since refused to comment and removed all evidence of this leak.
Not only that, but according to What’s On Netflix, the fifth and final season is also expected to be split into two parts across October and November of this year.
Although this has not yet been confirmed and is worth taking with a pinch of salt, it would make sense considering season four of Stranger Things was also released in two-parts.
Back in 2022, seven episodes dropped in May with two more following on 1 July.

In recent years, this way of releasing television shows seems to be the in-thing which is definitely one way to keep people subscribed to Netflix despite the ever-increasing subscription costs.
However, there is no denying that Stranger Things is one of the reasons viewers are sticking around, especially as season five will be its last.
The plot for season five has remained pretty tight-lipped over recent years with writers, the Duffer brothers, mainly claiming that “one last adventure begins” in the fall of 1987.
Despite this, and the three-year wait, fans are excited to see how the story concludes since its pilot aired way back in 2016.
