Disney Plus is welcoming yet another Star Wars show to its repertoire, a prequel starring two beloved underworld characters.
After a sort-of hiatus, I’ve really gotten back into Star Wars recently. I’ve always been a fan, but now so more than ever after all the excitement of Star Wars Celebration 2025.
Some exciting Star Wars stuff has been announced over the past few weeks, including the new Star Wars Zero Company game.
Aside from a first-look at The Mandalorian and Grogu and that new Darth Maul series, an exciting addition to the Star Wars canon arrives on 4 May, with Star Wars: Tales Of The Underworld.

This new series follows former Sith Asajj Ventress and bounty hunter Cad Bane after the events of Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Order 66.
While attending Star Wars Celebration, the full first episode was shown to audiences, with Ventress trying to live a peaceful life after the war before falling back into the fray when a Jedi survivor arrives at her door.
It had some great action, including Ventress going toe-to-toe with an Inquisitor, so there’s a lot to look forward to.
Of course, Cad Bane will also star in his own adventures, possibly diving into his more emotional side rather than the cold-hearted killer we’ve seen so far.

If you’re interested, Disney has dropped a brief teaser for the series, and if that doesn’t get you excited, I’m not sure what will.
The Tales Of series has been pretty great so far, with Tales Of The Jedi and Tales Of The Empire both being great hits on Disney’s streaming service, so Tales Of The Underworld probably won’t be an exception.
That said, I think it’s high time we got a Tales Of The Sith as well, perhaps one that finally explores one of the most interesting characters in the prequel era, Darth Plagueis; come on, let's finally tell his story.
