Anakin Skywalker is a complex character.
He’s a firm fan-favourite which is both understandable and surprising.
As we’re all aware, Anakin and Darth Vader are one and the same. It’s odd that someone who becomes so evil receives so much fan support.

Then again, actor Hayden Christensen is a delightful soul, beloved by the Star Wars fandom for his respect and passion for the franchise.
At least, for me, I also appreciate and fondly think back on Anakin’s origins. After all, he wasn’t always evil.
From his amusing relationship with his Jedi Master Obi-Wan to his developing romance with Padmé, Anakin’s had his fair share of wholesome moments too before, well, his transformation into you know who.
It almost feels as if Anakin has lived two lives.

Reddit user insanity_15 has pointed out a saddening tidbit about Anakin’s relationship with Ahsoka.

“Fun fact, Ahsoka and Anakin were enemies longer than they were friends,” they wrote.
It’s not something I’ve thought about before but now that it’s been pointed out, I’m left a little deflated by the realisation.
Anakin and Ahsoka share such a wonderful connection - and I urge you to give The Clone Wars a watch if you haven’t already.
And yet, their friendship was, in the grand scheme of things, so fleeting.
