Sonic The Hedgehog 3 is apparently the best film in the franchise so far, not a surprise considering it takes cues from Sonic Adventure 2.
The blue blur’s next big-screen outing is going to be bigger and better than anything that came before, largely due to the live-action introduction of his greatest rival Shadow The Hedgehog, who’s been seen riding a motorcycle and carrying a gun as the SEGA gods intended.
See the trailer for Sonic The Hedgehog 3 below.
Voiced by Keanu Reeves, Shadow is on a quest for vengeance presumably following the death of his best friend Maria, teaming up with Dr Eggman and his grandfather Gerald Robotnik to destroy the world.

As I mentioned, the film will take several story cues from Sonic Adventure 2.
Actors like Idris Elba have described the film as one for the real fans, and now critics who have seen the film early are saying the same.
While no spoilers have made their way online yet thank God, the reactions have been overwhelmingly positive, praising the performances from the cast as well as the action and story.
Of course, it’ll be up to the fans to decide if the film is worth the watch though, but judging from the last two films, I don’t see any reason why this one wouldn’t be as good, if not better.

It’s interesting to think how it wasn’t always going to be like this though, as the first trailer for the first Sonic The Hedgehog film was ruthlessly mocked by outraged fans for its less-than-ideal Sonic design.
The endless bullying forced Paramount to change the design, something that worked out for the best as the film slapped and left many wanting more.
While I’m glad Paramount went ahead with the decision to listen to fans, I do sort of want to see some concept art of what characters like Knuckles and Shadow would have looked like if they kept the original style…
