Mission Impossible and Top Gun star Tom Cruise was apparently totally unaware that porn exists on the internet until he was reliably informed by none other than Seth Rogen.

Canadian actor, comedian and filmmaker Seth Rogen is a man of many talents. Recently, he voiced Donkey Kong in The Super Mario Bros. Movie, and although his strategy for voicing the iconic character was simply just to be himself, it worked really well. He also pushed for the inclusion of the ‘DK Rap’ in the film, which was one of the greatest surprises.

Rogen says that the sequel to Sausage Party is going to be even more shocking than the first film. Refresh yourself on the original movie below.

The tale of Rogen accidentally introducing Cruise to internet porn came long before the Mario Movie, though - it occurred during the filming of the romantic comedy film Knocked Up, which released in 2007. As LADbible reports, it was revealed in an old episode of Late Night with Seth Meyers that Rogen had been to visit Cruise at his home, where the topic of internet porn randomly came up in conversation.

“He didn't know internet pornography existed,” Rogen said. “I think it just came up organically, like how it does. Like, ‘Oh, my friends were looking at internet porn’, and he was like ‘Whoa, whoa, whoa, what?’”

On the talk show, Meyers questioned if Cruise may have been joking, but Rogen doesn’t think so: “I 100% believed he had no idea that there was pornography on the World Wide Web. Which, the first thing I knew about the World Wide Web was that there was pornography on it. That's the only reason I know it exists.”

Cruise recently reprised his role as Ethan Hunt in Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One, which released in cinemas last week.
