Spider-Man fans are in agreement that Kingpin should feature in the next cinematic outing for the superhero, as too should Daredevil.
Well, they’re in agreement as much as they can be – it’s a fandom, when have you ever known one to be unanimous in its beliefs? That’s right, never. We’ve seen it recently with TLOU’s casting of Abby, news that made plenty of fans happy, yet a minority still managed to be annoyed by the announcement.
Seeing as we're talking about Spidey, how about another watch of Marvel's Spider-Man 2 trailer!
No matter what the fandom is for, it’ll find a way to disagree. However, while some will argue against it, a cinematic Marvel story starring Peter Parker, Daredevil, and Kingpin seems like the makings of a fantastic movie.

After all, Kingpin is regarded as one of “Spider-Man's most iconic villains”, making him an obvious choice after Green Goblin who, as we know, starred in Spider-Man: No Way Home. A film which has been hailed as one of the best MCU movies created thus far.
What is more, Kingpin has a history of utilising other villains to his advantage, as one fan explained during a heated discussion over on Reddit. “Kingpin hires (or otherwise uses) villains like Scorpion, Rhino, Bullseye, Shocker, Tombstone, etc,” They then added, “But he's more than capable of defeating any one of those (he has done so several times).”
As for Daredevil, just imagine how amazing it would be to see Spidey team up with this beloved hero, especially if Charlie Cox was cast (as he rightfully should be). However, after the scenes we saw in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, some fans believe the films will likely follow suit, with Spider-Man 4 introducing Mister Negative and Venom.
Seeing as Venom has been seen in Spider-Man before, we’re sort of hoping they don’t appear in the next film. It feels like low hanging fruit – too easy to fallback on, especially when other characters are crying out to star in a blockbuster film.
