Although Ms. Marvel is a superhero and has thus faced many challenges, her return to the MCU is arguably her most brutal experience to date.
It’s been a few years since we last saw the plucky young heroine.
The absence of any further news about Ms. Marvel and her TV show of the same name had fans concerned we wouldn’t see the character again. At least not in the MCU, that is.

However, it would seem we’ve all been labouring under a misconception that we’d see the last of her.
As detailed by ComicBook Movie, Ms. Marvel will be returning to the MCU, though perhaps not as we know her.
Marvel has many plans for its future. Take a look for yourselves
There are many intended Marvel projects so it’s easy to lose track of them, and as such, you may have forgotten about Marvel Zombies.

Acting as a follow-up to the popular What If…? season one episode, we return to the savagery of a Marvel universe plagued by the walking dead.
When the limited series was first teased, showrunner Bryan Andrews had this to say:
“Brad and Kevin [Feige] loved the What If...? episode so much. They were like, 'We need more zombies!' They said, ‘Let’s do a sequel to that episode - but let’s do four episodes, like a mini-movie event.' So, we’re upping the ante.”
They’re certainly doing just that, as this animated series will be for mature audiences only.

While its creators are keeping as many details as possible quiet until closer to its release, we now know that Ms. Marvel’s actor, Iman Vellani, will lend her voice to the series.
Marvel Zombies is due to be released on 6 October, so we have several months yet to further speculate about Ms. Marvel’s involvement and what might happen to the hero.
One thing’s for sure: anything goes in this brutal universe.
