The next Avengers films will apparently include one of the most beloved X-Men characters of all-time, and if it’s true, it’ll be good to have them back.

The X-Men are officially part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe now thanks to the multiverse, but we technically don’t know if they already exist in the 616 universe and have just done a really good job of hiding…

Have you played Marvel Rivals yet? If not, what are you waiting for, it's free.

In the Ms Marvel TV series, it was implied that aside from her magical bangles, Kamala Khan has some sort of “mutation” within her, implying that there could already be mutants running around that The Avengers don’t know about yet.

Speaking of Ms Marvel, in the superhero team-up film The Marvels, fans were treated to a post-credit scene featuring Hank McCoy’s Beast, who’ll apparently be returning in future projects.

Alex Perez took to X recently and said, “Oh btw, Dr. Hank McCoy’s back for Avengers,” and while we need to take this with a pinch of salt, it’s exciting nonetheless.

We already know Avengers: Doomsday will be a set-up film for Avengers: Secret Wars, which will presumably see Doctor Doom create Battleworld and populate it with heroes and villains from across the multiverse.

This opens the door for several team-ups and face-offs fans have wanted to see for years now, and it sounds like Beast will be included on one of the teams, though again, it’s not confirmed by anyone at Marvel yet.

This merely adds to rumours that Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine will play a crucial role in the crossover event, as will the Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield Spider-Men, amongst other returning faces.

How it’ll all tie together remains to be seen, from the sound of things, it’s going to make Avengers: Endgame look like a warm-up compared to what’s in store for the Avengers next.
