MCU X-Men lineup and cast rumour has fans seriously hyped

Fans are getting excited

As we near the end of the multiverse saga in the MCU, Marvel will be eyeing actors to step into the roles of the X-Men.

While Marvel Studios has teased the existence of the X-Men, and mutants, over a few of the recent films, we should be getting a full introduction to a new class of mutants after Avengers: Secret Wars.

Marvel has plenty cooking for 2025, including the next movie, Thunderbolts*

Of course, since Disney got the rights for the X-Men, rumours have swirled on who would take on these iconic characters in the MCU.

Now, a new rumour has emerged, casting several members of the team.

So far, the cast could look like this: Harris Dickenson as Cyclops, Sadie Sink as Jean Grey, Margaret Qualley would play Rogue, Julia Butters could be Kitty Pryde, and Jessie Plemons would star as Beast.

When news broke on Reddit, it got many fans excited.

“Jesse could f**kin rock that role,” said Menckenreality.

Another Redditor is excited by the idea of Margaret Qualley stepping into the MCU, saying, “Margaret in ANY MCU role would be a win.”

This could very well be speculation, or even a bit of fancasting, which is never a bad thing.

I wouldn’t get your hopes up for any of these actors until Marvel unveils the cast, much as they did with The Fantastic Four.

It’s unlikely we’ll get drip-fed the casting, and I’d imagine this news is under the tightest of wraps.

However, some of these actors would slay the roles rumoured, as this fan says, “If that's true, then W casting. Also, that would mean the team is made of my three favourites.”

Many rumours have said that we won’t see any new X-Men for a while, as it’s likely that the two Avengers films will be a send-off for the old team, once helmed by 20th Century Fox.

At this point, who knows what Marvel has planned next, but it’ll be a hell of a ride.
