Marvel has announced another new movie is in development, but this one isn’t going over as well with fans as you’d expect.
Marvel Studios releases several new movie and TV projects each year. 2025 will see the likes of Thunderbolts, The Fantastic Four: First Steps, and Daredevil Born Again coming to the big and small screens.
As such, that means the company is always having new projects greenlit years in advance, with some films in pre-production that are still years away.

“Nate is a fantastic executive and colleague as well as a wonderful friend to all of us here at Marvel Studios. He has been a core member of our team since 2010, and his influence will continue to reverberate in our storytelling.
“Although we’ll miss him a great deal, we look forward to watching what he does next while also having the good fortune of working with him in a new way on our next Black Panther movie.”
We’ve previously heard rumours of Black Panther 3 when Denzel Washington revealed a role had been written for him during the press tour for Gladiator II.

MCU fans are a little torn on this news. More recently, fans have been asking for sequels to some of the franchise’s popular heroes that only recently debuted in the MCU, such as Shang-Chi.
“Where is Shang-Chi 2?” wrote one comment on Reddit.
“It is weird how they straight up shelved Shang-Chi,” another wrote, echoing the sentiment. “But I'm very much looking forward to T'Challa II's Hamlet/Simba arc.”
Meanwhile, others voiced their disappointment in the direction the Black Panther series has taken.
