MCU fans divided over Cap 4's post-credits scene

It's a Brave New World, after all

The MCU is such a divisive subject these days, particularly its post-credit scenes. The latest discourse has occurred over the upcoming Captain America film and what its post-credit moment will involve.

In a matter of days, Marvel fans will be able to find out if Captain America: Brave New World lives up to expectations.

However, while there’s still time to speculate about its narrative, attention has turned to its possible post-credit scene, with Redditor SmellsLikePetrichors asking, “Do you think Brave New World will end or show in post-credit an Avengers team for Doomsday?”

With rumours about Thanos returning to the MCU sooner than anyone imagined, it’s understandable why fans are so curious about this section of the film.

Soon we'll understand the challenges Cap is facing in Captain America: Brave New World

It would seem that fans are unable to decide what will likely happen, with some positing that the scene will be set for the Thunderbolts* once the credits have rolled.

“Going by the leaks from last year… Bucky supposedly shows up before the third act, setting his story up in Thunderbolts. The Post Credit is supposedly related to World War Hulk. Unless they changed the ending,” hkm1990 responded.

User Logical_Astronomer75, however, believes that the OP is onto something with their theory, saying, “Supposedly Captain America: BNW will introduce the new team of heroes for Doomsday and Secret Wars.”

They don’t cite their source for this claim, but it’s enough to stir the pot again.

“Shiiiiit I'm more interested in what further developments may drop with Adamantium,” commented CosmicAtlas8.

Evidently, the MCU fandom wants something to be shown after the film has “ended”, they’re just not sure what it’ll be.

With Captain America: Brave New World releasing in UK cinemas on 14 February, none of us have long to wait to get our answers.
