Classic Spider-Man is back.
As much as we all adore the new Spider-Man suits, there’s just something about the classic costume that we can’t get enough of.
Sadly, we don’t get to see it as often as we'd like.

Thankfully, Marvel fans got a retro surprise on Thanksgiving when a new Spider-Man suit dedicated to the hero’s classic aesthetic made an appearance.
Marvel has big plans for us.
We have much to be thankful for.

Reminiscent of the cover art for the Amazing Spider-Man, we see our friendly neighbourhood Spidey ready to swing into action.
You’ll note this is different to the wall crawling stance we typically see the hero in.
What is more, Spidey has been going extra hard at the gym because his thighs are a thing of beauty to behold.
As is the whole final product, to be completely honest.

Spider-Man has been featured in The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade since 1981, though he didn’t take on his balloon form until 1987.
It’s not been a consistent feature, having been removed from the parade in 1998, however, after it returned in 2009, it’s been one of the key features of the event.
During a conversation with Polygon, Macy’s Studios’ executive producer, Will Cross, said, “I have to say, I’m not sure if you’ve seen any of the renderings, or any of our test flights, but he is a pretty impressive balloon.”

This isn’t the only surprise return of Spider-Man we’ve enjoyed this week – there was another unveiling that blew fans away.
It might not always be plain sailing for the Spidey fandom, but when the positive news comes it’s always worth the wait.
Hopefully, we'll see more of the classic Spider-Man attire as we move forward in the MCU.
Even if it’s just for a mere moment.
