Marvel fans are in for a treat this year, as the MCU’s first full-on horror project is about to drop.
Despite its overwhelming success, you could argue that the Marvel Cinematic Universe follows a certain formula with every new release, making it a real treat when we're, as fans, given something new.
Speaking of something new, check out Deadpool & Wolverine, dropping later this month.
Something the MCU has very rarely dabbled in is horror, and while it sort of dipped its toe into the genre with Doctor Strange: Multiverse Of Madness and Werewolf By Night, it’s never fully experimented in this realm with a dedicated mainline project.

That’s about to change though, as the upcoming Disney+ series Agatha All Along is said to be a full-on horror show, and we honestly can’t wait.
Agatha All Along is the spin-off series about the witch antagonist of Wandavision, which employed a clever marketing tactic of several title changes before eventually revealing that it was Agatha All Along.
While many fans are exciting to explore more of Agatha’s character, Marvel Studios head of TV and streaming Brad Winderbaum is excited to see how fans react to the tone of the show, teasing that it’s "really scary."
He went on to say, "Agatha is really fun, but it’s really scary and it gets quite dramatic … She’s an amazing anti-hero and that show lures you in with the fun of Halloween, and before you know it, you’re crying.”

Apparently it’ll be the "Marvel brand of scary” with “deadly stakes” but a “fun ride” if not a “dangerous one.”
The plot will follow Agatha attempting to reclaim her powers after being stripped of them by the Scarlet Witch at the end of Wandavision, so expect plenty of twists, turns and magic spells.
Agatha All Along will premiere on Disney+ on 18 September, just before the spooky month.
