Marvel quietly teases beloved MCU hero is coming back from the dead

Guess who's back

The MCU could soon welcome back one of its fan-favourite characters in the ongoing series Agatha All Along.

For those who haven’t been watching it, Agatha All Along is a spin-off and sort-of sequel to WandaVision, that follows Agatha attempting to reclaim her lost power after losing to the Scarlet Witch.

Take a look at the trailer for the Disney+ series below

While the series has been pretty good so far, even name-dropping one of Marvel's biggest bads, it’s been unfortunately ruined for some viewers through spoilers, some of which come from the trailer itself depending on which region you watch it in.

Distanced from the spoilers though are fan-theories as to who some of the more secretive characters could be, and what the series is ultimately building towards.

Agatha and her gang are currently travelling down the Witches’ Road, which will grant a wish for whoever makes it to the end.

While you’d think Agatha will just wish for her power to be restored, provided she actually gets there to make the wish, a popular theory is she’ll use the wish to bring the Darkhold back into existence.

The Darkhold was the magic book that gave her such power in the first place, and the item that corrupted the Scarlet Witch before her “death” in Doctor Strange: Multiverse Of Madness.

Given the ex-Avenger was in possession of the book when it was destroyed at the end of the Doctor Strange film, it’d make sense that bringing it back could also bring the Scarlet Witch back at the same time.

Of course all of this remains to be seen, and if the current plan is to bring the character back for a major role in Avengers: Doomsday, surely it’d make more sense to put the resurrection into a major film rather than a Disney+ series…
