Hogwarts Legacy 2 can wait, we're getting more LEGO Harry Potter

The magical little bricks are back

When RPGs fall short of expectations, or have been played to death, there’s always a constant we can rely on: LEGO.

Hogwarts Legacy 2 isn’t going to launch for a few years yet, which leaves fans with a lot of free time on their hands.

There are plenty of ways to occupy your time, such as digging out a classic RPG experience that some fans are obsessing over.

However, you can also spend your time recreating iconic scenes from the films, books, and games thanks to these new LEGO releases.

As announced on the official Harry Potter website, several new sets are now available, offering both compact and large options depending on how much free space you have.

From Hagrid’s trusty bike to the sprawling splendour of Diagon Alley, the wizarding world can come to your home… provided you have the funds to pay for it.

TV and films fans can also check out Harry Potter: Wizards of Baking

Starting from just £20, the prices range from reasonable to extravagant, though as always with larger sets, you’re getting your money’s worth.

Malfoy Manor, in particular, is a substantial project that you’ll likely lose hours to, and not just while building it. Once it’s complete, you can then act out the Deathly Hallows scene it’s taken from. Or you can just sit and admire your handy work.

All of these sets are now available, with shopping options for both UK and US fans linked on the website.

There’s also a teaser that more sets are on the way this year.

“We'll keep you posted on more LEGO goodness as the months roll along. Happy 2025!” the closing sentence reads.

If, for some strange reason, LEGO isn’t enough to keep you entertained, there’s always the Hogwarts Legacy fan-created Triwizard Tournament DLC instead. Unfortunately, this mod is only available for PC players.

Whatever option you choose, the magical world of Harry Potter continues to thrive in spite of the controversy that hounds it.
