It’s still the very early days of development for HBO’s upcoming Harry Potter reboot, but it’s still a series that fans are struggling to wrap their heads around.
Yes, there’s a small appeal in exploring one book per season as events won’t be quite as rushed as when you’re adapting for film.
That being said, it’s hardly as if the beloved film series particularly omitted any major storylines.

In fact, I’d say it took its time with many runtimes almost pushing three hours.
And Deathly Hallows, of course, was split in half to account for that book’s extensive plot.
Is a TV reboot worth the addition of seeing Hermione’s S.P.E.W efforts brought to life?

“As someone who doesn't care about the movies nearly as much as the books, I'm really looking forward to it,” wrote FinagleHalcyon.
I wouldn’t say that’s the predominant consensus, however.
