When we saw the Japanese depraved gaming setup which had integrated a bed into a three monitor layout, we thought we had seen the pinnacle of gaming. That was until we saw this gaming rig.
Going by the name dave_moments_ on TikTok, Dave repairs LED panels. Using over 700 of the small panels that he works with, he mashed them together to create an epically large screen ready for a completely immersive gaming experience. Taking up almost an entire room, the screen looks almost like one which you would see at a cinema.
If you want to see what Dave’s gaming setup looks like in action, look no further than the video below.
Dave’s screen has a few benefits over other large gaming setups, such as projectors. Firstly, being an LED screen, it gives off its own light making the colours richer and the blacks deeper. Secondly, Dave’s screen takes inspiration from companies like Samsung and curves the screen around to put you right in the game. It’s just like VR but without all that troublesome motion sickness. It even curves round at the top, meaning that when you look up you are still in the game’s world. Oh yeah, and it’s 8k.

Dave has hooked a PC up to his enviable set up, so he has an absolutely enormous library of games of which he can choose from. Also, to play on his screen he has placed a simple desk and chair in the centre of his gaming domain. On it he has only a mouse and keyboard, making it much more streamlined than most people’s clutter-ridden studies.
While most folk don’t have a whole room spare in their homes to house such a monster, we can still look on appreciatively at what our man has created. We may never hope to achieve these heights of gaming immersion, but we can still dream.
