Tonight is the night where we will celebrate all things gaming courtesy of the annual The Game Awards but one person on the guestlist could be the key to a long-awaited announcement.
The annual Game Awards kicks off later this evening, celebrating its 10th anniversary, and alongside rewarding some amazing games and developers, we will also get to see some upcoming games via trailers and gameplay reveals.
Check out our only proof that The Elder Scrolls VI exists below!
These are often presented by big-name guests, and one such big-name guest is none other than Todd Howard, executive producer at Bethesda Game Studios, who will be a presenter at the ceremony.

Shared via the official The Game Awards Twitter page, the announcement reads as follows: “Thursday, Bethesda Studios Todd Howard joins us as a presenter for The Game Awards, video game's biggest global celebration. Don't miss the livestream starting at 7:30p ET / 4:30p PT.”
We are not yet sure exactly what Howard will be presenting at the ceremony but his mere presence has got some fans thinking that he may actually be there to share more information on The Elder Scrolls VI.
It has officially been six years since The Elder Scrolls VI was first announced and other than a very short teaser trailer, we have received no more information about the highly-anticipated RPG.
However, that could all change with Howard’s Game Awards segment.

The possibility was discussed over on r/TESVI with one user posting: “So you’re telling me there’s a chance..?” alongside the announcement image for Howard’s appearance.
However, fans were not convinced.
“Almost zero chance Todd is ready to talk about the game,” user Xilvereight commented.
“At most he might say the usual 'Shoutout to my team back home who's hard at work on our next game!'"

PhoenixDude1 agreed, saying: “He'd probably be there for an Indiana Jones/Starfield announcement if there was anything announced. I don't see ES6 being teased until 2026 at the earliest.”
With just a few hours to go before The Game Awards 2024 kicks off, we will soon see if The Elder Scrolls VI gets a mention.
