Some say that bigger isn't always better, but that hasn't stopped Bethesda from creating the galaxy gargantuan that is Starfield.
Bethesda says that the sci-fi RPG Starfield has been decades in the making and if it wasn't for generational limitations, this game would have arrived long before now. However, thanks to modern-day technology, Bethesda’s vision of Starfield is now possible and the developer plans on hitting a home-run when it releases this September.
Take a look at the latest trailer for Starfield below.
During this week’s Xbox and Bethesda Showcase, there was a lot of information revealed about Starfield during its 45-minute presentation. So much so, that we’d be here forever if we were to go through it all. Starfield will have a diverse story campaign with branching choices, space battles, character customisation, an adoring fan and so much more.

Bethesda chief Todd Howard even confirmed that Starfield will feature over 1,000 planets, yikes! So with a game as big as this one, it makes sense that we're going to see some of the most ambitious environments that Bethesda have ever had to offer.
As reported by GamesRadar, the big city in question is New Atlantis, and while the actual size of the city wasn't revealed, Bethesda developers didn't shy away from teasing viewers watching the recent Starfield deepdive about its size. “As soon as you land in a city like New Atlantis, your eyes are guided upwards to these boundless, vast buildings,” said producer Maja Jevremovic. “It's the biggest city we've ever made, not just in size but also in the amount of custom art, crowds, and quests,” added production director Angela Browder.
In other related Starfield news, it’s been confirmed that NPCs can call you by your real name, though we’re sure there will be some limitations. Starfield will be released on 6 September 2023 for PC and Xbox Series X|S.
