Starfield hasn't even been released yet and still, fans can’t stop obsessing about the upcoming sci-fi RPG from Bethesda.
It’s certainly been a patient wait for fans of Starfield, though thankfully we’ve not been waiting light years. Yet, following multiple delays, the launch of Starfield is just weeks away and as that release date draws near, anticipation is shooting into the stratosphere.
Check out the Starfield gameplay trailer below!
What’s more, Starfield is literally promising to be the biggest game that developers Bethesda has ever created featuring over 1000 planets to visit, around 100 star systems as well as the largest city that the studio has ever built. That being said, 10% of those 1000 planets are said to have signs of meaningful life and activity. So I guess we can see them as being 100 premium planets.

However, despite not releasing until a couple of weeks time, review codes have begun going out to select members of the media as Starfield goes gold. Though as a word of warning, spoilers are also out in the wild, so please be careful when scrolling through social media posts.
Assuming that the person that’s posted the related image featured in today’s article hasn't broken an NDA and it won’t soon be removed, an image of Starfield’s main menu has been shared on Reddit, and already, fans are obsessing over it.

The Reddit post in question is kindly filtered to hide any spoilers, but after viewing the image myself, you have nothing to worry about. Unless of course, you consider a main menu to be a spoiler.
The main menu screen has no spoiler details, but rather a clean, crisp presentation, which oddly has a subtle resemblance to the main menu screen of Alien: Isolation and it seems some of the thread thinks so too. Though I’m sure Starfield is far less terrifying. Seriously, I both love and hate Alien: Isolation at the same time.
“Bethesda is very good at minimalist, efficient main menus. Will we get a "Mods" section like Fallout 4/Skyrim? In time, almost certainly,” suggested Chimera211. “Looks like a no bullsh**t menu, I love to see it,” exclaimed Effective-Caramel545. “I like it. Clean and straight to the point. Kinda hyped,” added TheEternalGazed.
Starfield has a release date of 6 September 2023 for PC and Xbox Series X|S. Unless you’ve pre-ordered the Premium or Constellation Edition. If so, then your release date is 1 September. Starfield will also launch on Xbox Game Pass.
