Known for its wholesome stories, surprisingly deep characters and some of the most relaxing farming you've ever seen, Stardew Valley has kept fans coming back since its release in 2016. According to ConcernedApe this next update is looking like the biggest for some time.
The creator shared an image for a 'Qi' fruit - think a large smirking blueberry with green leaves for hair and wearing sunglasses - which is linked to a quest called 'Qi's Crops' that asks players to ship 500 Qi fruit in 28 days. There was no other information but fans are speculating that the Qi fruit will be able to grow much larger than previously able, after examining the Qi fruit sprite in detail. This variant would join melon, cauliflower and pumpkins, and allow for more growing options.
Fans are seeing this as important because it might meant that the Qi fruit will stay in the game, whereas usually it completely vanishes in every form after the quest is complete.
While Stardew Valley has seen a lot of updates there's always a chance that the new one is the final one as the developer will be moving onto a new game that is currently in development. Don't fret though, if you're playing on PC there are plenty of mods to keep your farm thriving.
