If you wanted answers on what happened during the aftermath of the Battle of Endor following Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi, you can finally get your answers.

Depending on who you ask, Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi brings mixed emotions, many may think it's the best conclusion to the Star Wars trilogies while others may not.

That being said, without question, some of the best moments of Return of the Jedi were during the Battle of Endor, home of the real-life build-a-bear creatures, more commonly known as Ewoks.

Personally, there’s something about an Ewok that makes me want to drop-kick them through a 10-storey window but many love them, so who am I to judge?

Nonetheless, as reported by Comicbook.com, if you love Ewoks, then you might be interested in the new comic book series, Star Wars: Ewoks published by Marvel.

Star Wars: Ewoks will be written by Steve Orlando, with the artwork being created by Álvaro López and Laura Braga, the series promises a new perspective tale of the furry creatures and the return of the most popular Ewok, Wicket.

“Forty years of Ewoks!” said Steve Orlando in a statement. “Sometimes, a lot of the time, this job is just a dream - and for someone who grew up watching Return of the Jedi, getting the chance to celebrate them and explore their world in the aftermath of the second Death Star's fall is truly beyond belief.”

“When I was young, the Ewoks got me in the door - Wicket was my hero, a young hero like me (like I was back then) going on adventures with Princess Leia herself,” he continued.

“Now, as an adult, it's an honour to challenge Wicket and bring all-new Ewoks to Bright Tree Village - but not just that. There's a lot more to Endor that we'll be seeing for the first time since the Ewoks animated series -- this is a powerful world, a powerful ecosystem, and we'll be exploring it like never before.”

Star Wars: Ewoks will be a four-issue comic book series and its debut issue will be available from 9 October 2024.
