Star Wars Jedi: Survivor features a Luke Skywalker cameo, well sort of.

The sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order takes place five years after the events of the first game, and roughly ten years after the events of Revenge of the Sith. In this new tale, Cal Kestis is more grizzled and wise, with the Galactic Empire still hot on his heels - hellbent on the extermination of the Jedi once and for all. In order to fight back against the forces of the Dark Side, Cal has enlisted the help of iconic Jedi Luke Skywalker, played by the legendary Mark Hamill. In a hilarious trailer titled 'Jedi Coaching Sessions', Hamill attempts to teach Cal (played by Cameron Monaghan) the ways of the Force, as Yoda once did for him.

Take a look at the 'training session' below.

Hamill is present during ‘Motion Capture Session 386’ and the Jedi Master’s questionable methods include Wampa monster survival skills, mind trick manipulation, popcorn throwing and more. Sadly, Mark Hamill’s Luke Skywalker does not feature in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor (at least we think), despite being alive and well during this time period in the movies. So I suppose it is possible. But anyway, let’s not get our hopes up.

In related news, it’s been revealed that Star Wars Jedi: Survivor has a larger day-one patch than most full games. What’s more, EA has warned fans to expect weeks of further patches to fix reported bugs.

In our review of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, we said it’s “an exceptional sequel, improving on every gripe fans had with Fallen Order while adding countless new features in that’ll keep players engrossed for a long, long time. It’ll take something really special to come out to stop Survivor being the best action/adventure game of 2023.”

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is out now for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
