When you hear the words “new Star Wars release”, you hope it’s a film, right? However, with Disney constantly hovering over the trigger, that’s not happening for a few years.

This release, however, still has me hyped because a new clothing line has dropped, based on Darth Vader’s iconic black and red colour scheme, and it’s pure fire. No jokes intended.

We recently talking everything Star Wars with Jude Law.

Partnering up with Columbia clothing brand, the new line features 18 separate items, all styled with that sleek black look in mind.

One jacket features a shiny, almost patent leather look with red accents inside, and I have to have one.

In fact, there are three coats or jackets in the collection and each of them offers style and accents that don’t obviously scream Star Wars if you, like me, prefer something understated.

There are t-shirts with large logos and featured artwork of Vader front and centre if you want to rep the best Star Wars villain, too.

Not sure how I feel about the bucket hat actually looking a bit like Vader’s iconic helmet, but the over shoulder bag is a lovely accessory.

I haven’t dared look at the prices yet. Maybe I should.

Okay, I looked. The overcoat, with patented heat retaining technology, swish red lining, and graphics of Mustafar is gorgeous, and it retails at over $300.

I don’t need to eat, right? Food is optional?

Of course, this quality of clothing paired with a licence like Star Wars is going to cost more than your average lot of clothes.

The two-pack of socks are $40, but they do look comfy.

The collection is available right now and is shipping worldwide, though if you’re ordering outside of North America, you might not make the Christmas shipping dates.

I’m now off to write to my bank for a loan, for an unrelated purchase.
