Skyrim player stumbles across hidden underwater treasure you definitely missed

Skyrim player stumbles across hidden underwater treasure you definitely missed

Have you found this treasure?

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is a massive game offering a dense map enticing players to embark on epic adventures, so it makes sense that there are plenty of secrets waiting to be discovered.

That being said, the fact that Skyrim was originally released by Bethesda in 2011 on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, before being ported in every console generation since, it’s a testament to how fun this game is with players still making discoveries over a decade later.

One of the many things that you can do in this ever-popular entry in The Elder Scrolls series is go for a spot of fishing and if you get bored of catching fish via traditional means, you can dive into the lake and slash away at the creatures of the deep like the scallywag that you are.

However, other than catching fish in the lake, you may even be fortunate enough to find some treasure. I know you can easily collect the odd coin in the water but you might not always discover substantial loot, unlike Reddit user ohmygawdjenny.

“I found some treasure underwater next to Lakeview Manor,” they said, sharing a picturesque screenshot of the lake in question. The screenshot shows a house icon on the compass and the tip of a stone structure popping out of the water.

“Wow, I never found this, going back in to check it out,” replied Kevalemig.

“There is other stuff underwater if you take the time to look, it's best to come back with either an accessory enchanted with water breathing or play as an Argonian, suggests Shonisto343. “Underwater can also sometimes be a good place to hide from enemies if necessary.”
