It is hard to believe that The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim was first released well over a decade ago, especially considering how much it is still played to this day.

However, it is down to these dedicated fans that we are able to learn all there is to know about Bethesda’s open-world RPG, including the recent discovery of a hidden boss.

From hidden portals to hidden treasure sitting under Whiterun, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is a masterclass in open-world exploration with features, secrets and Easter eggs still being discovered to this day.

It sometimes feels like we will never find all there is to find in the land of Skyrim, especially with one player recently stumbling across a boss that a lot of us would have missed.

The discussion kicked off over on r/skyrim when one user asked, “What were your first thoughts when you were at Blackreach?”

As we know, Blackreach is a large city in a massive subterranean cavern underneath the Tower of Mzark in The Pale.

We all remember stumbling across this staggering location when we first played Skyrim but none of us could have expected its massive scale.

However, as much as we did explore this cavern, a lot of seemingly missed quite a big boss.

A whole dragon, in fact.

According to one user in the thread, players can summon a dragon to Blackreach by using Unrelenting Force on the big orange orb hanging from the ceiling in the cavern.

“There is a Dwemer building with a big glowing orb on the ceiling occupied by falmer and their brainwashed slaves.

Unrelenting Force the great big orb. You should hear something like a gong if the about hits it. The named dragon will appear soon,” one user explained.

I don’t know about you but I was shocked to discover this and will definitely be trying it out in my inevitable replay of Skyrim.
