Shirley Curry, better known around the internet as 'Skyrim Grandma', is recovering from a recent stroke she suffered in her sleep.
The 85-year-old Curry has been playing Skyrim on YouTube since the game came out in 2011, and has built up a following of adoring fans in that time.
Take a look at some of the best moments Skyrim has to offer below!
Curry told viewers that she had suffered a stroke towards the end of February. She added that she had also forgotten quite a bit about how to even play Skyrim, presumably as a result of the stroke.

"Skyrim is giving me fits!!! My big game every day for years, and I wake up one morning and it's mostly gone!!!" Curry wrote. "It is a scary situation!!"
Fortunately, Curry has been keeping fans updated on her recovery, which seems to be going well! The YouTuber has started therapy, and recently revealed that Bethesda sent her a large bouquet of flowers and the company's best wishes.
"I'm so proud of them," Curry said. "And so thrilled that they would do something like this for me."
While Curry doesn't quite seem ready to return to Skyrim, her latest video saw her in a positive mood as she asked her viewers what kind of content they might like to see on the channel while she attempts to work her way back towards being able to adventure through Tamriel once more. Here's hoping for a full and speedy recovery!
