Other than the mammoth that is Grand Theft Auto, Rockstar Games’ other hot property is its Wild West series, Red Dead Redemption.
Unless you’ve been living under a rock over the last few days (not Dwayne Johnson), then the chances are that you’ll be well aware of Rockstar Games revealing the debut trailer for the highly anticipated GTA VI.
Check out the GTA VI trailer below!
However, despite fans looking forward to the release of GTA VI, many are also awaiting the announcement of Red Dead Redemption 3. We know that we’ll get Red Dead Redemption 3 at some point, because not only is the actor who plays Arthur Morgan in Red Dead Redemption 2 certain it will happen, but Rockstar Games' parent company Take-Two Interactive has all but confirmed its pending arrival.

That being said, fans will have to wait around two years for the release of GTA VI on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, so it's likely to be substantially longer for Red Dead Redemption 3. With that in mind, we can only imagine how gorgeous Red Dead Redemption 3 will look, especially after feasting upon the GTA VI trailer.
Thankfully a devoted fan has taken matters into their own hands by creating a concept for the original Red Dead Redemption remake on Unreal Engine 5. It’s worth keeping in mind that when the third numbered entry in the Western series arrives, like GTA VI, it will most likely be powered by the Rockstar Advanced Game Engine and not Unreal Engine 5. Nonetheless, this Unreal Engine 5 remake looks incredible and makes the recent port look like poop.
The Red Dead Redemption remake in question has been created by digital concept artist and developer TeaserPlay. The trailer features a re-modelled John Marston, the protagonist of the original 2010 game. We also get a glimpse at the stunning environments and the dusty saloons in a local town. We even get a cameo from Dutch van der Linde as well as what looks to be the snake that is Edgar Ross.

The Unreal Engine 5 concept demo for Red Dead Redemption makes full use of the software’s technical advancements. It must be stated that this impressive demo has not been made for public use at the risk of being attacked by Rockstar Games’ lawyers.
Grand Theft Auto VI will launch for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S in 2025 with no PC release announced at the time of writing. As for the next entry in the Red Dead Redemption series, that hasn't been officially announced by Rockstar Games.
