Almost immediately after Red Dead Redemption 2 launched, speculation began that Rockstar was planning a remake of John Marston's adventure using the latest game's engine, and that it would include update dialogue to include references to Arthur Morgan and the events of Red Dead Redemption 2.
To make things even more interesting, a mysteriously deleted post on Reddit last year made the claim that a Red Dead Redemption remake would be released before GTA VI. Other industry insiders and analysts have agreed this is likely, but aren't willing to commit with 100% certainty to whether or not it will actually come to pass.
For now, we can simply drool over this stunning fan edit again and again (and again).
