Red Dead Redemption 2’s open-world map is one of the most detailed in gaming but even to this day, there are some areas that some players are yet to visit.
If Rockstar Games is known for anything, it is its incredible narratives and expansive open-worlds and Red Dead Redemption 2 meets both of these.

Set across a 19th century fictionalised representation of the Western, Midwestern, and Southern United States, players follow Arthur Morgan as he explores everything from the highest mountains to the nearby swamps.

However, with plenty of bodies of waters to explore, it makes sense that, despite the game first being released almost 7-years ago, some areas are still a secret to many.
That is what happened with Reddit user Donut2583 who took to r/RDR2 to ask about a small group of islands found on the Flat Iron Lake.
“Anything worth doing on these islands?” They asked, alongside a screenshot of the map.
According to user wizardof0g, there is one inhabitant on these islands that will see the player net quite a profit.

Iguanas.
Finding and capturing the lizards will see you able to sell them for a big price but that is not all that can be found there.
“A hat, a trinket, a lizard, some birds that only spawn in a few places, some pirate rum, some loot, and a bunch of crabs,” another comment read.
“Definitely worth a visit. A horse with high enough stamina can swim it, just about any that’s at level 4 bonding will probably do.

You can just steal a canoe too. And if you set up a campsite, it’ll automatically teleport you and your horse to the mainland.
Make sure you have your varmint rifle and/or small game arrows handy though, all the critters over there are small. No deer or anything bigger than a fox that I’ve ever seen.”
So it may not be anything too exciting to discover but it is definitely worth a visit if you are strapped for gold.
