We’ve shed so many tears over Red Dead Redemption 2, we feared we’d run dry, but no, the tears still come after seeing this secret ending.
Arguably, one of the main reasons we return to Red Dead Redemption 2 time and again is because of its fantastic story.
Emotive, action packed, and detailed, it doesn’t disappoint.

There are ways we can mix things up to make Rockstar’s outing feel like a whole new game, but you won’t lose anything by foregoing such changes.
Being an outlaw isn't all its cracked up to be in Red Dead Redemption 2

However, the emergence of a secret ending has reminded us that we know nothing save the taste of salty tears.
Reddit user UndeadMarigold shared a video of this ending with fellow fans, alongside a post that claims it had them “in TEARS”.
Note the caps, people; this is serious.
Others quickly joined in to pay their respects to Arthur Morgan, while hurting their own feelings at the same time by watching the OP’s heartbreaking clip.

“Oh, I see. So I'm not done crying yet. Cool, cool, cool,” said WitchyGnome.
Despite the tears flowing freely, the fandom still had time to congratulate the OP on completing the game 100 percent on a platinum run.
“Congratulations my friend. That's some serious dedication,” said Radiant_Cricket1049, “I too have been considering a 100 percent playthrough, but it seems like an overwhelming task, and I don't want to ruin a perfectly good game for myself.”
Nobody said it was going to be easy.

Even though 100 percent completion is a monumental task, it’s worth it to witness moments like this.
Seeing as one RDR actor has already confirmed their character won’t return in Red Dead Redemption 3, we’ll take what moments we can, however upsetting they are.
Just remember to have your hankies at the ready if you should saddle up and ride alongside Arthur and John once more.
