Red Dead Redemption 2 mod adds playable Micah, if you've the stomach for it

We won't judge

Red Dead Redemption 2 modding is at an all-time high, with the amount of new content readily available for players.

When modders aren’t adding in characters from other games, they’re creating large expansions that extend the amount of available content.

Chances are, if you have an idea for a mod, someone has already made it. It’s like having a genie readily available to you.

One mod for Red Dead Redemption 2 adds a home on Guarma.

And if you’ve ever wanted it, a new mod for Red Dead Redemption 2 allows you to play as Micah Bell from the story mode.

Now, I know Red Dead Redemption 2 is approaching its 7th anniversary later this year, but I’m still going to put a spoiler warning here in case anyone hasn’t played the game to completion yet. So, consider yourself warned.

Micah is a member of Dutch’s crew of outlaws and one of the major antagonists of Red Dead Redemption 2.

The Micah Bell Project features a playable Micah, with voice lines for interactions, combat, horses, and other various situations.

For those who like to play Fashion Redemption, there are more than 20 outfits for him to wear too.

Mods like this usually work by replacing the player character with a new model and voicelines. The changes are purely aesthetic, as game logic still thinks you’re playing as “Arthur”.

So there might be some funky things happening like characters addressing you by the wrong name, or an incorrect voiceline occasionally plays.

From what I can see in this Micah Bell mod, it’s very polished and there aren’t that many bugs. Not all of Arthur’s voice lines have been replaced, because there are obviously far too many unique ones that simply can’t be swapped out.

Still, if you have the stomach to play as one of Rockstar Games’ baddest villains, the Micah Bell Project is there to satisfy your needs.

If you like the mod, its creator rejuvenate7 has mentioned that they might do other character swaps in the future if the mods have enough support. In addition to Micah, they've also done one for Sadie.

Maybe Dutch is next?
