Red Dead Redemption 2 free New Game Plus mod is your excuse to replay

Red Dead Redemption 2 free New Game Plus mod is your excuse to replay

The mode is finally here!

Red Dead Redemption 2 rarely gets any complaints but one feature fans have been calling out for is a New Game Plus mode.

Although Rockstar Games seemingly aren’t delivering on this, one fan has taken matters into their own hands by releasing an unofficial New Game Plus mode for the action adventure title.

Check out the Red Dead Redemption 2 launch trailer below!

Created by sezzco on Nexus Mods, Red Dead Redemption 2 New Game Plus is a free mod which does exactly what it says on the tin.

Once downloaded, players can access a saved file which has everything done except for story, side missions, legendary animals/fish and two treasure maps.

What you won’t have to worry about is features such as filling cores, unlocking the coffee percolator, pocket watch and lock breaker and owning the offhand holster.

You will also automatically own all clothes and masks, all trapper clothes (excluding legendary animal clothes), all reinforced equipment (except the Master Hunter Holster), all rare hats and melee weapons and the Otis Miller Revolver which can be found in the weapon locker.

The map has also been revealed and features all of the legendary fishing spots, points of interest and treasure maps.

All animals and fish are also 100% (except the legendary ones), the compendium is fully updated and all equipment is also fully maxed out.

Last but not least, all gangs have been discovered as well as cigarette cards.

You can see the full list of unlocks on the official Nexus Mods page but this mod is perfect for those who wish to dive back into Red Dead Redemption 2 without having to spend too much time on side content.

Perhaps you just want to experience the story again and this is the perfect opportunity to do so.
