One player just spotted a funny little secret hidden in Rockstar Games’ cowboy simulator Red Dead Redemption 2, although there’s a good chance you may have already spotted it yourself - depending on how cruel you are to your fellow campmates.

In a post on the r/reddeadredemption subreddit titled “1800+ hours (I know..) and I’ve NEVER heard this before”, user Inevitable_Extreme53 noticed that, provided you ignore him for long enough, Dutch will have some choice words for you.

In the clip, you can see Arthur slowly walking away from Dutch as he calls out for him until finally, Arthur walks far enough away that Dutch screams out, “Yeah, well, f**k you then!”

“Lol, I was ignoring Dutch for days and he yells, 'I KNOW you can hear me',” replied user grahamcracker3.

I personally hadn’t spotted this one so it got a chuckle out of me, but I was surprised to learn (after a little digging) that a lot of players aren’t aware that there are several ways you can annoy your camp members.

Take a look at some of our favourite in-game wins and fails.

For instance, if you don’t return to camp for a very long time and never donate any money, the camp members will actually hunt you down across the map and goad you into returning.

I remember running into both Charles and Bill this way, but I have heard that it’s possible to run into Dutch this way too.

Once you do return to camp, you’ll find out that everyone is annoyed at you for not pulling your weight. Pretty rich considering they donate barely anything but whatever.

I know there’s a bunch of other little secrets hidden away in the camp itself too, like the books you can find and read that Dutch steals quotes from, and the letter from Lenny’s father that imply that Lenny gave up on becoming a lawyer to join the gang.

Gotta wonder how many hundreds of secrets are buried in this game that I’ll never find. Who knows how many thousands more there will be hidden in GTA VI too?
