Micah from Red Dead Redemption 2 is easily considered as one of the most hated characters in gaming history.
However, a recent discovery has revealed that the corrupt gunslinger was actually a lot younger than players originally thought.

It has been almost six years since Red Dead Redemption 2 was first released and its popularity shows no signs of slowing down.
Hordes of players still flock to the Rockstar title and as a result, new features, secrets and Easter eggs are regularly discovered thanks to some eagle-eyed fans.
That was definitely the case recently for one user over on r/RDR2 who found a curious newspaper clipping at Micah’s old camp just outside of Strawberry.
Tilted ‘Farm Lynching Murderers Wanted’, the article reports of the murder committed by a Micah Bell and his son Micah Bell (don’t ask).

The father and son duo brutally murdered a couple and have since been on the run from police.
However, it is the ages provided that caused a bit of confusion for the original poster when they asked “so Micah has a son?”
That is not the case. The article reveals that Micah Sr was 38 at the time of the murders and his son (the Micah we unfortunately know) was 17.
Based on the date shown at the top of the newspaper clipping compared to the year Red Dead Redemption 2 is set in, it would appear that Micah was just 39 during the events of the game.

It is perhaps no surprise that Micah turned out the way he did if his father-son bonding days consisted of murder.
However, it is pretty surprising to learn his age.
