A Red Dead Redemption 2 player has discovered a combat mechanic many of us never knew existed, until now.

Despite being released nearly seven years ago in October 2018 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One (the following year on PC), players are still making discoveries in Rockstar Games’ brilliant Red Dead Redemption 2.

When it comes to dynamic worlds, it doesn't get much better then Red Dead Redemption 2. Not only does it look absolutely gorgeous to this day, but there’s so much going on in its huge Wild West map.

The chances are, players will still be finding new things to do until Rockstar Games eventually announces Red Dead Redemption 3, probably long after GTA VI has been released.

Whether it’s hunting for treasure, uncovering a sinister secret, performing a bank heist, hunting or losing money at a poker table, there’s so much to do in Red Dead Redemption 2.

You can even have a drink at the local saloon which will very likely result in a bar room brawl instigated by your shenanigans, which brings us to the topic of today’s story.

“I’ve been playing since launch, and I had no clue this was possible,” said Redditor wouwouwouwou, sharing a captured gameplay clip of Arthur Morgan throwing unfortunate NPCs through a saloon window.

“Holy crap, I didn't know that either....now I gotta go throw someone out of a window,” replied Similar_Pea_5635, hopefully referring to throwing an NPC and not someone in real life.

“I can’t eat at the Valentine saloon until all of the front windows are gone due to throwing people through them,” exclaimed Mojo_Rizen_53.

“Red Dead Redemption 2’s combat system using the environment is damn impressive,” said FishBait162.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is out now on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It’s also backwards compatible with PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
