Red Dead Redemption 2 players want Eagle Flies and Rain Falls DLC

Red Dead Redemption 2 players want Eagle Flies and Rain Falls DLC

Red Dead Redemption 2 fans are all in agreement that Eagle Flies and Rain Falls should get their own DLC.

We’re all so focused on Rockstar’s progress on Grand Theft Auto VI, and understandably so. I really don’t think there’s a more highly-anticipated game out there, but I’m curious to know what the studio is cooking up next for the Red Dead Redemption franchise.

There are no confirmed plans for Red Dead but given the success of this series, it feels like a given that Rockstar will create something, at some point - whether that be a sequel, spin-off, adaptation or DLC. Fans are keen for a prestige TV adaptation after watching HBO’s The Last of Us, plus they’re hoping that Charles Smith will end up with his own game - both are things I’d like to see. In their latest idea though, fans want to see an Eagle Flies and Rain Falls DLC.

Take a look at some of our favourite Red Dead Redemption 2 wins and fails below.

As a reminder, Eagle Flies and Rain Falls both belong to the Wapiti peoples. In fact, Rain Falls is Chieftain of the tribe. You interact with the duo throughout several of Red Dead Redemption 2’s main story missions but fans are all in agreement that it’s not enough. They want the father and son to get their own DLC. Reddit user Akiens took to the site to write, “The Rain Falls and Eagle Flies saga is underrated, some of my favourite missions from story mode.”

Jordaneleed agreed, saying, “I would have loved a DLC with more missions with them, would’ve paid almost anything from it,” while cainsdilema added, “Agreed. I would pay another 50 or 60 for 10 -15 hrs of DLC.” Many fans concurred that indigenous peoples deserve more representation in gaming. Kansas_slim wrote, “Would love a game with a native protagonist set earlier in time that RDR2.” Famizofpower agreed, adding, “We need more native representation in games. If I trust anyone to do this, it's Rockstar. The research they put into RDR is stellar.”

All of this is reminding me of just how incredible Red Dead Redemption 2 is, not that I really needed reminding. Do I start another playthrough? Go on then.
