It’s a big ol’ week for PlayStation fans. Yes, the major PlayStation Showcase is almost upon us after weeks of speculation.
What are you hoping for? Assumedly, we’ll finally receive a release date and gameplay trailer for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. You may remember that a few months back, Sony seemingly teased a sequel to Ghost of Tsushima in a PS5 advert. Could we see that too? The same advert also contained what looked like an Uncharted tease, or could it be a new treasure hunting IP? That, I do not know. I’d love to hear something from Naughty Dog. The Last of Us Part III, an update on the TLOU multiplayer … I’ll take either. Let’s not forget rumours of the redesigned PS5. So much to theorise about. Today though, I bring you something much more humble. It is free though.
Speaking of Marvel's Spider-Man 2, take a look at the original teaser trailer below.
As reported by PlayStation Lifestyle, yet another costume pack DLC has been released for Sackboy: A Big Adventure. It’s not the first to be released. In fact, there are over 40 you can nab on the PlayStation Store, totally for free. The latest pack though is called the ‘Jelly Bean Paint Pack’ and essentially allows you to give Sackboy a glossy red, blue, brow, cyan, green, orange, pink, purple, white, or yellow overhaul.
Chances are, plenty of PlayStation owners will have access to Sackboy: A Big Adventure. The game was recently included in April’s PlayStation Plus essential tier offerings. If you missed that opportunity and you happen to be a PS Plus extra tier subscriber, worry not. Sackboy: A Big Adventure is also available to download from the extra tier catalogue.
Advert
If this latest costume offering doesn’t sound particularly exciting to you, those that are already available are based on some pretty familiar PlayStation heroes including Ellie, Kratos, and Nate. Perhaps those are more up your alley.
