The nostalgic gamers out there will be pleased to hear that Xbox has an exciting announcement coming this summer thanks to a rumour of a long-awaited remake.
There is no denying that video game releases are getting more and more ambitious in recent years with modern technology making them bigger and better than ever before.
However, nostalgia is a powerful old thing and so many of us will remember the games we fell in love with throughout our childhood.

Take a look at some of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1&2 below!
That being said, with older games getting harder and harder to play on modern consoles, we have to rely on remakes and according to a recent insider rumour, an exciting one is on the way.
Shared by insider eXtas1s | Fake Insider on Youtube just yesterday, they believe that Xbox is planning on shadow dropping Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 & 4 at its summer showcase this June.

Not only that but the remake will be heading to PC, Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5.
First released back in 2001, with Pro Skater 4 following in 2002, the Tony Hawk skateboarding games were the staple of many of our childhoods and this will mark the first time they have been remade for modern consoles and PC.
As you can imagine, the rumour has got fans hyped and they took to r/GamingLeaksAndRumours to share their thoughts.
VagrantShadow said, “If this rumour of a summer Tony Hawk 3+4 shadow drop is true, and the other rumor that we'll see a Oblivion remaster come about this summer is also true, Xbox will be bringing forth some classic game bangers this year.”

Another user agreed, adding, “Probably one of the best shadow drops in history if true. That's a AAA game if it's like the 1+2 remakes.”
“PLEASE be real, I go back and play through THPS1+2 twice a year,” another user pleaded.
Of course, this is merely a rumour and so the news should be taken with a pinch of salt.
However, there is no harm in getting a little bit excited, right?
