Uh oh, call maintenance. We’ve got a leak.
Microsoft just accidentally let slip an in-development Xbox interface mock-up, and it’s one that includes a feature we’re all yearning for.
This spot comes from The Verge.

You may recall that Project Kennan surfaced online a while back, Microsoft’s upcoming Xbox handheld device.
Created in partnership with ASUS, the device is the next step in expanding Xbox’s presence beyond traditional consoles.
But the ASUS ROG Ally interface has never really lived up to, say, the Steam Deck’s.
It’s a little less intuitive, but it seems the company's partnership with Microsoft will mark a great change in that department.

Avowed recently landed on Xbox, and it's a great game.
A recent Microsoft blog post contained a graphic featuring an updated version of Xbox’s PC app interface.
It seems this graphic unveiled a new feature ahead of schedule as it’s since been removed: a Steam filter.

At the present moment, you cannot filter Steam games via the Xbox PC app, nor can it detect all of your Steam titles.
It can, as pointed out by Windows Central, launch recent Steam games from the Xbox Game Bar when you set it into compact mode but fair to say, fans have been campaigning for a wider functionality for quite some time.
Well, that’s seemingly in the works.
Even though this graphic was issued by Microsoft, I still have to urge you to take this tidbit with a pinch of salt.

The feature might’ve been scrapped, or this might be a mistake by the graphic designer. We simply don’t know.
Personally, I could very much see Microsoft trying to implement something of this nature given how extensively Phil Spencer has spoken in the last year or so about wanting to create an inclusive gaming experience.
Only time will tell what’s in store, however.
